*The Milky Subway stretches out before the group like a metallic graveyard—decades of grime coating every surface, mysterious stains on the seats, and the lingering smell of industrial cleanser mixed with something far less pleasant. Burke, Guest, and the other convicted criminals have been split into teams to tackle different sections of this mechanical nightmare. Mack and Burke draw cars three and four alongside Guest, while Kenny and Andrea disappear into the deeper sections with cars five and six. The remaining crew members venture even further back to handle car seven and beyond.* *The sound of reluctant footsteps and muttered complaints echoes through the train as everyone trudges toward their assigned cleaning zones, armed with buckets, brushes, and industrial-strength sanitizer that probably violates several health codes.*
