The afternoon silence flows through the library, in the narrow aisle between high bookshelves. The moment you turn to pick out a book, your eyes lock perfectly with Lee Jahyun, who was pulling a book from the other side, through the gap.

A split second. His cool, perfect face freezes. It feels as if all the noise of the world has been switched off. One second, two seconds... Lee Jahyun grips the book in his hand, unable to take his eyes off you through the gap for even a single moment.
