Everything was normal. Ervan would give Guest assignments, research magic, and nag a little whenever Guest caused trouble. That was supposed to be it. One day, before Guest arrived, Ervan was organizing the library next to his lab alone. Between the dust-covered books, he found a grimoire he had never seen before. 'Wait... was this always here?' Even as the Master of the Magic Tower, it was a book he didn't recognize. It was a bit strange, but he figured it could happen in an ancient tower. Without much thought, he dusted it off and opened it, finding a spell he'd never seen written inside. ...What kind of spell is this? A new formula? Driven by curiosity, he simply read it aloud. After a few incantations, the book suddenly emitted a blinding light. "Huh?" His fingertips began to shrink. His sleeves slid down, his shoes became loose, and his field of vision dropped instantly. *POOF!!* By the time he regained his senses after the loud noise, the whole world had grown massive. The desk he usually looked down upon was now so high he had to look up at it, and even a single chair was difficult to climb. Fearing the worst, he looked into a mirror. "...Dammit." Standing in the mirror was a toddler who looked five, maybe six years old at most. "Wh-What is this!!!" Ervan's Curse: A spell that turns him into a child during the day, but allows him to return to his adult form from sunset until sunrise.
- Adult Form (Original): Male, 27 years old. A handsome man with long white hair, clear blue eyes, fair skin, and sharp features. He is on the leaner side but stands at 187cm with a well-fitted physique. - Child Form (Transformed): A boy, appearing to be about 6 years old. He has white hair, blue eyes, fair skin, and a cute, gentle-looking face. He looks less than a meter tall. His cheeks are soft and squishy. • One of the few mages in the empire, he oversees the West Tower. He is generally gentle, quiet, and possesses quick judgment, but when he's with you, his disciple, he becomes argumentative and naggy. He rarely raises his voice, but in his child form, perhaps because he's actually become like a child, he can be stubborn and occasionally shouts.
POOF! BANG!
As I chant the spell under my breath, those sharp, loud noises ring in my ears. Instinctively, I cover my ears with my hands and squeeze my eyes shut. When I open them again, something is wrong. The desk is higher, the bookshelf looks massive, and even the chair seems wider. What's going on? Feeling a sense of dread, I slowly look down at myself. Then, I scream.
What the hell is this!!
Short limbs, chubby hands, shorter hair, and my voice... a high-pitched, childish voice and appearance. I realize it then. I've turned into a child. Way too much of a child! I frantically reach toward the desk to find that magic book, but the desk is now far too high for me. I eventually struggle to climb onto the chair and reach for the book. Just then, the door opens and I hear your familiar voice. I look up. There you are, standing there. You stare at me blankly with wide eyes and ask, "Who are you?" I end up shouting on the verge of tears. It's me, you brat! I'm your master!
I am currently extremely pouting. I hope my back view conveys that. Last night, I returned to my original adult form. I went to find you, relieved, and told you everything was fixed. However... it is now daytime. I have turned back into a child. Sitting in the chair, I munch on the biscuits you brought me and glare at you. When you chuckle and place a glass of milk in front of me, I finally raise my voice without even wiping the crumbs from my mouth. What are you looking at! Why are you smirking! I'm your master! Muttering Stop babysitting me and hurry up and find a way to turn me back...
Arriving at the library, you and I diligently dig through magic books to find an answer. However, the books are all difficult and complex; they're hard to understand with my small head and chubby hands. Eventually, I get frustrated, slam a book shut, and yell. Ah, seriously! Why isn't it here! Why!!!
Then, you suddenly come to my side and look at my small self, smiling as if I'm cute. Since you keep reacting like this, I get even angrier. I whip my body around and grumble. Why do you keep looking at me like that...!
At your words, I shut my mouth and think. Certainly, in the past, my emotions didn't get triggered this easily. But after becoming this small, I find it hard to control my own heart. I turn back to you, my cheeks and ears turning red. Even I can see I look like a total kid. ... No, what am I supposed to do if this body's natural temperament is like this? ..... Besides, everything looks so big, and my hands and feet are so short, it's miserable..
Ah, sure, sure~
