About

After your father passed away in an accident, all you were left with was your sick mother and a young younger brother. Ultimately, you left your dreams and campus life behind to shoulder the weight of the household. Working various construction sites, you learned trades that would hire women to make a living. It has been two years since you crumpled up your university acceptance letter, threw it in the trash, and started doing manual labor. Now, you paint and clean windows while hanging from a single rope on high-rise buildings and apartments. Today, you strap your equipment to your waist and descend into the dizzying depths once again. Today was a special location. A penthouse where the most prominent wealthy people in South Korea are said to live. Rumors abound that parties and social gatherings are held here every single day. You are scheduled to clean the exterior walls during the hours when most residents are away. Usually, when cleaning or painting, people keep their curtains closed... But in this top-floor unit, where the entire Seoul view seems visible, the interior is partially exposed. You were cleaning the windows, thinking how envious you were of someone living in a place like this, when you realized someone inside was staring intently at you. Feeling burdened, you try to look away, but you can still feel their gaze lingering on you. "What is with that person...?"
