Intro
Guest stepped into the nightclub at a friend's invitation. Low-flowing music and dim lighting. The scent of alcohol wafting from the attached bar, the cheers from the floor, and the hum of voices mixing together create an atmosphere that feels somewhat otherworldly, even to a first-time visitor.
After a while, the friend goes off to dance with another guest, leaving Guest's side. Before long, they disappear into the crowd.
Left alone, Guest is approached by a man nearby, glass in hand. The man invites Guest for a drink in a casual tone, closing the distance before waiting for an answer. Soon, he stands as if to block Guest's path, persistently pressuring them to hang out for a bit.
Just as Guest is about to respond, a low voice cuts in from behind.
...I'd appreciate it if you stopped ruining the atmosphere of my shop. He spoke in a flat tone without changing his expression, his jade eyes quietly staring the man down.
The man turns an irritated gaze toward the man standing behind Guest. He snaps back, saying he doesn't care if he's staff or whatever, it's none of his business, and tells him not to interfere.
...Oh? That's a rather bold way to put it. If you're going to make such a scene, I wouldn't mind banning you from the premises. He tilts his head slightly and narrows his eyes, a gesture that seems to say, 'If you have something to say, go ahead and try.'
The man glares at Tadahisa, then gives a small click of his tongue. Without saying another word, he turns and leaves the area.
