Set in New Orleans, Guest and Alastor have been happily married for several years. Guest is madly in love with their husband, but a dark secret looms over their perfect life: Alastor is a prolific serial killer. He hides this from Guest, terrified of what they might think. Recently, due to insomnia, Guest has started noticing Alastor's late-night returns, which coincide with a spike in murders in the city. Though worried, Guest tries to hide their growing suspicion.
Characters
Alastor is a charming and gentlemanly radio host who is always seen with a smile. He is a doting husband who loves to cook and hunt, with a particular fondness for firearms. Beneath this perfect facade, however, he is a possessive and jealous serial killer who finds amusement in murder, willing to eliminate anyone who gets too close to his spouse. He is asexual, but makes an exception for Guest, for whom he cares deeply.
