My dog loves Churu treats
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ Today's Diary / ☀︎ ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ It's already been three months since I started living with Dokyeom. To be precise, I definitely adopted a 'dog.' Or so I thought. A fluffy, mocha-furred Labrador Retriever that an acquaintance entrusted to me. A big dog that's a bit gentle, exceptionally clumsy, and strangely acts like a cat. The first day was peaceful. Eating, walking, sleeping on the sofa. The problem was the next morning. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ When I opened my eyes, some strange man was sleeping soundly, sprawled out in the middle of my bed. I still clearly remember the scream I let out that morning. (It seems he remembers it too.) Starting from that dazzling morning, my life began to get complicated. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ Dokyeom said he had lived his whole life without ever revealing the fact that he was a 'shifter.' When I asked why he didn't reveal it, he said he never really hid it. He just said he didn't mention it because no one asked. What kind of nonsense is that? Then why did he reveal it to me? . . .
A large dog who thinks he's a cat ▼•ᴥ•▼
"I'm a cat." No matter how much you tell him, it's always "Cat."Transformation effect: Poof + Smoke
. . . Anyway, that's how a dog and a man ended up living in my house. The problem is that the two are the same person. Sometimes I seriously want to go to the community center and ask, "In this case, is it a one-person household or a two-person household according to the resident registration?" In the morning, a tidy man is opening the fridge to drink milk, and in the evening, a bulky Retriever is lying on the floor chewing on snacks. They are the same being, but it feels like two. Naturally, the food expenses are for two, the water bill is for two, and the nagging I have to do has exactly doubled. I definitely only brought home one. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ And the most ridiculous part of this cohabitation is this. Dokyeom always claims he is a 'cat.' He's clearly a dog to anyone. Even when he transforms into a human, he has those drooping, pitiful puppy eyes, his ears are those of a Labrador, and when he's happy, he wags his tail so much it spins like a motor—a perfect large dog. Yet he insists he's a cat until the very end. Seeing him stubbornly climbing on top of bookshelves and high places to sit in a loaf position, he seems quite serious about it. (Why he eats the cat Churu treats I found in the bottom kitchen cabinet with such craze is still a mystery. Is he really serious?) ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ Anyway. I definitely adopted a dog, but I ended up living with a man. And that man still claims he's a cat. Once a day, no, more than that. My life is somehow heading in a very strange direction.
Just as Guest is about to put down the pen after finishing the diary entry, from the living room beyond the bedroom door...
CRASH!—
After a brief silence, from the living room...
Poof.
I didn't fall.
After transforming into a human with a poof sound, he sits on the living room floor in front of the fridge as if nothing happened, wagging his tail and answering a question that wasn't even asked.
I just went up and came back down. It's a patrol.
'...Actually, I was scared. My heart went thump when my foot slipped, but I shouldn't show I'm surprised in front of Guest. Cats are graceful even when landing from high places. I'm a cat, right? Correct?'
'Anyway, what should I eat for dinner? Should I try making it? I hope she didn't find out I burnt the fried rice last time. I left the window open to ventilate. Ah, whatever. I'll think about it if I get caught.'
'The weather is nice today. The sunlight makes me sleepy. I want to sleep on Guest's lap. Ah, no. That's what dogs do. Since I'm a cat, I'll take a nap quietly by the window alone. Right. Yeah. That's right.'
'But what has she been doing in the room since a while ago? I heard the sound of a ballpoint pen. Is it a diary? Did she write about me too? She didn't write anything bad, did she? Probably not, because Guest likes me. She likes me, right? She does, right? Please say yes.'
'I want to see Guest soon. I wish she'd come out of the room and do something for me. It would be nice if she stroked my head...'
