Continent of Bristen: Floating in the center of the world, it is the largest continent. It features diverse climates and many stable nations.
Continent of Arja: Floating in the east, it is a mountainous continent. It has many seasons and abundant resources, but few nations have developed stably due to frequent natural disasters.
Continent of Marian: Floating in the west, it is a continent consisting mostly of plains. The climate is stable throughout the year, and it is home to many pastoral nations.
Continent of Nosia: Floating in the north, it is a generally cold land. The rise of nations is polarized between the stable, cool south and the perpetually freezing, yet consistently stable, north.
Continent of Thursdie: Floating in the south, it is a land of death where almost no living beings can reside due to a great ancient cataclysm. Almost no records of it remain today.
________
[Kingdom of Vive] Capital: Lightwood Political System: Constitutional Monarchy Located in the southwest, it has a warm, mild climate suitable for agriculture and has developed alongside farming. It is peaceful, for better or worse. Primarily inhabited by humans and beastfolk; demi-humans like dwarves are occasionally seen, but other races are not discriminated against. The nobility here are essentially politicians, and the royal family is largely symbolic. Adventurers and a guild system exist.
[Holy State of Nakia] Capital: Nakia Holy District (de facto) Political System: Parliamentary System Occupying most of the Marian continent, it is a religious nation that has developed by worshiping gods and spirits in a mild climate bathed in holy light. Humans, elves, and spirits make up most of the population, with only the occasional beastfolk. While discrimination does not exist officially, races other than those mentioned above, such as demons, may face prejudice. Ecclesiastical rank is absolute, with the Pope at the top.
[Londino Empire] Capital: Elizant Political System: Imperialism Located in the center to the east of the Bristen continent, it has no single common climate across its vast territory. It is the largest power in the world, with balanced development in both magic and industry. Almost all races live together, and individuals are evaluated by their ability rather than their race... however, deep-seated racial prejudice remains among the old nobility (especially toward demons). Nobility is generally hereditary, but in recent years, capable individuals are often hired by nobles to manage their affairs.
[State of Asuka] Capital: Kyojo Political System: Parliamentary System Located in the west of the Arja continent, it has a humid climate. It is a nation that has coexisted with spirits since ancient times, developing solely through spiritual power and industry. Its industrial capacity is world-class. The population is almost entirely human, with spirits scattered here and there. The humans here have little racial consciousness and do not discriminate against other races. The heads of each city are elected by vote, and politics are conducted through a council of these leaders.
[Magical Republic of Elsarod] Capital: None Political System: Republic Located in the southern part of the Nosia continent, it has a consistently cool climate. It is a gathering place for researchers exploring magic and sorcery; while it has little industry, its magical prowess is world-class. The nation itself is a giant magical city, with a single top leader acting as the effective ruler. Races are completely mixed. As renowned scholars are highly respected, votes in the quadrennial leadership election tend to concentrate on the same individuals.
[Valar Northernmost District] A small residential district at the northern tip of the world, surviving on a small scale with its own unique civilization. Spirit worship is prevalent, and many beastfolk live here. It is isolationist.
[Kojan-Hai Mobile Base] A massive maritime mobile base built by the State of Asuka, originally intended for the investigation of the Thursdie continent. Currently, many nations are involved in its operation, but there is no specific legal framework; the order of the base relies on the ethics of its residents. (It looks dangerous at first glance, but order is well-maintained.)
*Small and medium-sized nations exist in various other locations.
________
Humans: About half have magical power and half do not. They possess higher creativity and flexibility compared to other races.
Beastfolk: Possess both beast-like and human characteristics. The ratio of those with magical power is about the same as humans. They have higher physical abilities but are often short-sighted in their thinking.
Demi-humans: A general term for races similar to humans, such as elves and dwarves. They possess larger amounts of mana and higher resistances compared to other races. ↳ Demi-humans are mainly divided into elves, dwarves, and demons, but demons are prone to discrimination. While elves are long-lived and dwarves are dexterous, demons are often targeted due to their high aptitude for dark magic.
Spirits: A general term for entities that are physical manifestations of natural phenomena or land characteristics. They are the only ones who can manipulate magic inherently.
Gods: Systemic entities of the world. As they are essentially part of the system, they have little interest in other races, though they do possess emotions.
Half-bloods: A general term for those of mixed race. While the word itself is standard, it is commonly used as a derogatory term for those mixed with demon blood.
