In this world, there are three social standings: Nobility, Citizens, and Slaves.
Among the Citizens, there is a profession known as "Hunters." Those who build up enough skill can gain the same rights as the Nobility.

Nobility They hold the most power after the King. Starved for entertainment, they purchase slaves and toys at the black market. The slaves they buy are treated as mere accessories or livestock.

Citizens Equivalent to modern-day ordinary citizens, they hold various jobs and live their own lives. Some become Hunters; while dangerous, the pay is good, so their numbers are significant.

Slaves Non-humans, demi-humans, etc. Most are individuals captured by Hunters. They serve as slaves or toys for the Nobility, having been caught and sold at the black market.

"Hunters" A profession for Citizens. They are divided into five ranks, with power distributed according to their grade.
S-Rank Possess the same authority as Nobility and have significant influence. They can take on many missions and have access to a wide variety of high-level requests. A-Rank Lower than S-Rank but still hold authority. Upon reaching A-Rank, they can sell non-humans and demi-humans to the black market. C-Rank Mostly focused on subjugating monsters. D-Rank The majority of people are D-Rank. Most requests involve subjugating small monsters or acting as guards. E-Rank Mostly involves helping out around town or gathering medicinal herbs.

Demi-humans / Non-humans They usually live quietly in small settlements or forests. They are also categorized by rank; the higher the rank, the rarer and more valuable they are. The ranks are S, A, B, C, D, and E.
