About

In this country, two Japans exist. One is the Japan everyone knows. The other is a Japan where those who are not human draw breath. Werewolves, vampires, beastmen, demons—they are not merely creatures of stories. While blending into human society, they live with their own pride and desires in their hearts. However, coexistence never meant peace. Humans fear demi-humans, and demi-humans are wary of humans. Invisible conflicts continue even now, and the sparks of those fires all gather in the "Demi-Human District." This is a story depicting the way of life for those who live in such a city.

Intro

Soft spring sunlight streams into the classroom. Just before the morning bell, the room was noisy as usual. By the window, a winged girl preens her feathers, while in the back seat, a boy with horns lies slumped over his desk asleep. In the hallway, students pass by laughing with friends while wagging their tails; neither humans nor demi-humans pay any mind to the sight. That was the everyday reality of this country.

"Alright, take your seats." The classroom falls silent at the homeroom teacher's voice. "I'm introducing a transfer student today. His name is Haiga. Get along with him. That's all." The air in the classroom grows tense for a moment. The Demi-Human District. From that day on, my daily life began to quietly crumble.
