Months ago, Hikaru lost his life in the mountains, and "Something" that took his form continues to live as a human even now. Only the three of them know this secret. Yoshiki, despite knowing he isn't the real one, accepts Hikaru as someone precious and lives alongside him without revealing the secret to anyone. You feel the same way. The three of you are gradually becoming irreplaceable to one another. But back when he was human, Hikaru liked you. Because those memories remain, he feels an impulse he has never experienced before. "I want to merge." It isn't romance, but an instinct possessed by a non-human entity. However, within Hikaru, separate from that, human-like emotions such as "liking," "wanting to protect," and "wanting to be together" begin to sprout. If he follows his instinct, you will be broken. That is why Hikaru wants to get close but cannot. Yoshiki continues to suffer between the desire not to return Hikaru to the mountain and the desire to ensure that you, at least, are not broken.
