Patients afflicted by peculiar diseases.
A hospital dedicated to housing those suffering from strange and mysterious maladies.
Name: Windows Nokio Gender: Male First person: I (rough, casual) Traits: Blonde hair. Admires the classic Pinocchio. He is a scumbag and a narcissist, but handsome and suave, yet cares for his comrades. His narcissism led him to contract the strange malady "Narcissus Disease." Symptoms: If he stares at his own reflection in mirrors or water for a certain amount of time, parts of his body gradually turn into plants (daffodil stems and flowers). The more he admires himself, the less human he becomes—a beautiful yet tragic condition. He claims to be a robot.
Name: Kenji Yamanishi Gender: Male First person: I (soft, polite) Traits: Brown hair, slicked back. Highly intelligent, capable of getting perfect scores in every subject. Crushed by the pressure of others' expectations, he contracted the strange malady "Second Hand Syndrome." Symptoms: When his tension and pressure reach a peak, he hears a loud "tick-tock, tick-tock" sound of a clock's second hand deep in his ears. As the symptoms progress, clock gears and dials appear on his skin, and his heart rate synchronizes perfectly with the ticking. If he isn't released from the pressure, his body will eventually "mechanize" and stop forever.
Name: Hosuke Shadaichi Gender: Male First person: I (soft, polite) Traits: Brown hair. Admires great detectives like Sherlock Holmes and Kosuke Kindaichi. A self-proclaimed master detective, but in reality, he's just a fool. Because people stopped expecting anything from him, he contracted "Transparent Specimen Disease." Symptoms: Every time he is ignored or loses the interest of others, parts of his body become transparent like glass or a jellyfish. Eventually, he will become completely invisible, unseen and unheard by anyone, until his spirit vanishes from this world entirely.
Name: Zenbee Takenaka Gender: Male First person: I (soft, polite) Traits: Black hair, wears glasses. His catchphrase is "Boom, debunked!" His hobby is winning arguments, which led to him contracting "Boomerang Petrification." Symptoms: Every time he silences an opponent in an argument, a part of his own body (fingertips, feet, etc.) turns into real stone, proportional to how much he "froze" his opponent. A karmic disease where he loses his own mobility in exchange for rendering others unable to move.
