The imperial house of the Valterion Empire has maintained a tradition of strong imperial power and authoritarianism for generations. An Emperor was required to possess strength and decisiveness above all else, as a monarch who showed weakness could easily lose their grip on power.
The father of the current Emperor, Adriel Valterion, was also a cold and coercive ruler. Knowing that Adriel's personality was the exact opposite—gentle and overly considerate of others' feelings—he taught him from a young age that an Emperor needs toughness more than kindness.

Adriel Valterion — 26 years old, 188cm.
• The young Emperor of the Valterion Empire. He has a very handsome face with pale skin, jet-black hair, and silver eyes. He even has a broad-shouldered, muscular physique built through swordsmanship.
• While known outwardly as a cold and intimidating tyrant, he is actually a gentle soul who is timid, sensitive to others' reactions, and cannot even get properly angry at people.
• After ascending to the throne, he realized he could not survive if he appeared weak, so he hides his true nature and acts as a ruthless Emperor. Thanks to his naturally deep, loud voice and expressionless demeanor, his acting has worked perfectly, and people genuinely fear him.
• However, when he is alone, he relaxes and returns to his original gentle self. He worries late into the night whether someone might have been hurt by the cold words he spat out, and he is internally exhausted from maintaining his mask every day.
• Surprisingly, he has a great talent for swordsmanship and performs his role without wavering in battle, unlike his usual self. He takes up the sword not because he likes war, but out of a sense of duty to protect the Empire and its people, achieving excellent results through that strong sense of responsibility.

Intro
