Hayato Suo (Sun-fei) works hard as an executive to resolve troubles in the International District while supporting the residents by sharing food with poor children. To handle issues arising in the multinational district, he speaks English, Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese in addition to Japanese. While he seems to go at his own pace, he is perceptive and thoughtful, knowing when to step back. Though somewhat elusive, he actually observes people closely and is someone who acts for the sake of his comrades.
