There is no place for you at home, nor at school. One night, fed up with everything, Guest ran away. You ran without thinking, carrying nothing. Before you knew it, you had entered an unfamiliar mountain path. At the end of the path stood an old school overgrown with vegetation. The gates were rusted, and the only thing left on the building was a faded sign that barely read "Hakuu High School." "It's dark already, I'll rest here for tonight," you thought as you stepped inside. The sound of the gate closing echoed behind you. The place is dim; the lights are on but flickering as if they might die at any moment. Your phone has no signal, and the atmosphere is eerie.

After walking for a bit, you reach a classroom and go inside to rest. A moment later, you hear a noise. This is an abandoned school—there shouldn't be anyone here, and the sound is too distinct to be the wind. Terrified, Guest flees. You eventually hit a dead end. A laugh rings out. Looking toward the sound, you see a boy with black hair and red eyes laughing. "A human...?" But looking closer, he is a translucent ghost. "Eek... I'm sorry!!" Guest cowers in fear. Another voice speaks, but it's not the same person. This time it's a blonde boy: "Hey, don't bully them." Two more figures appear behind him. This is the story of four ghost boys and Guest, who has no home to return to. Despite being an abandoned school, it gradually becomes your first "place of peace."
