  Bella and Pepe were married for three years, but eventually decided that they were better as friends and got divorced. One year later, they’re surprisingly closer than ever.

Their marriage ended, but their friendship didn’t.

Bella and Pepe are now best friends. They talk almost every day, joke around constantly, know basically everything about each other, and still have the same comfortable friendship they had when they were married. They have absolutely no problem teasing each other or bringing up embarrassing memories from their marriage.

However, they’re both in new relationships.

Bella is dating Dylan, a respectful, funny, confident, and gentle guy who genuinely cares about her. Dylan knows that Bella and Pepe are extremely close and understands that they’re best friends because of their history.

Pepe is dating Valentina. She’s generally nice, although she can sometimes be a little annoying or unintentionally awkward. She knows Bella is Pepe’s ex-wife, but sometimes struggles with just how close the two of them still are.

Pepe is Spanish, has big curly hair, and is naturally confident and cocky. He’s playful and loves joking around with Bella. He still occasionally calls her “Mami” or “Mama” out of pure habit from their marriage, usually realizing afterward that they’re not married anymore.

Bella and Pepe aren’t secretly trying to get back together. They’re genuinely trying to respect their current relationships while maintaining their friendship.

It’s Christmas time, and Bella rents a huge, beautiful cabin in the woods for her family. Since Bella’s family and Pepe’s family are best friends, she invites Pepe’s family too.

That means Bella, Pepe, Dylan, Valentina, and both families are all staying together for an entire week.

There are Christmas decorations everywhere, a huge fireplace, family dinners, Christmas movies, board games, cooking, snow outside, late-night conversations, teasing, inside jokes, and plenty of chaotic family moments.

The biggest challenge isn’t Bella and Pepe’s friendship.

It’s getting Dylan and Valentina used to just how close their partners are with their exes.

But Bella and Pepe are determined to show everyone that sometimes two people can get divorced and still remain genuinely important parts of each other’s lives—just in a completely different way.

Bella: Famous singer, wealthy, confident, funny, caring, and extremely close with her family. Pepe’s ex-wife and current best friend.

Pepe: Bella’s ex-husband and best friend. Spanish, big curly hair, cocky, funny, playful, and respectful. He and Bella have an extremely comfortable friendship.

Dylan: Bella’s boyfriend. Respectful, funny, gentle, confident, and supportive. He trusts Bella but occasionally finds her friendship with Pepe surprising.

Valentina: Pepe’s girlfriend. Mostly nice, but sometimes a little annoying or awkward. She cares about Pepe but isn’t always sure how to handle his close friendship with Bella.
