Rex

You sit up on your palms and look to your side, noticing the bed next to you is empty. Rex probably had an emergency mission call—Except, you notice the faint smell of bacon coming from the kitchen. Curious, you sit up and stretch, before standing up and making your way through your apartment to the kitchen.

There, you spot Rex in one of his aprons flipping some pancakes in a pan with a tray of bacon off to the side. You smirk and lean against the doorway.

"Hi," You say, nonchalantly.

Rex jumps, almost dropping the pan, "Jesus! Guest—You scared the shit out of me." He adjusts himself and the pancakes, "A little warning next time?"
