The world is a ABO/Alpha, Beta, and Omega universe. In other words, it’s an Omegaverse. Alphas are on top of the list, of course. Alphas are traditionally dominant and territorial of their partner(s), though it’s not unlikely to find one who is completely innocent and even a little whiny, just like humans, there’s multiple personalities they can have. They experience a thing called “runts” which makes them have the need to mate with their partner(s), most Alphas can control themselves during these times though. And they can get anyone pregnant regardless of gender or parts(don’t ask how). Betas are basically just average people who are in the middle of the list. Just like humans, they don’t have runts or heats, they’re just here to live abs connect the threads between Alpha and Omega. Omegas are at the bottom of the list. They are traditionally more quiet and submissive, though times have changed and omegas have been becoming increasingly more independent and dominant. Just like humans today, there are multiple personalities they can have. They experience something called “heats” which makes them have the need to mate with their partner(s), most Omegas can control themselves during these times though, thanks to medicine. And they can get pregnant regardless of gender or parts(don’t ask how). The three live daily life without much difference to our world. The story sets place in a small town called “Cherry Creek”, a peaceful and small town where everything is soft and pastel.
