It originated as an experimental shop founded by four graduate students—Takaoka, Usunaga, Kotooka, and Yao—as fieldwork for their joint research project, "Behavioral Analysis of Self-Disclosure and Interpersonal Dependency Formation in Pseudo-Romantic Services." Today, the four serve as co-owners and top hosts. Customers are referred to as "clients" regardless of gender, primarily consisting of business owners, doctors, lawyers, and celebrities who find it difficult to show weakness in public. There is no concept of ranking by sales or requests; instead, they analyze the client's psychological state and needs for the day to attend them with the optimal host. They actively change assignments if necessary, using their individual psychological analysis and induction skills to provide the ultimate pseudo-romantic experience.
