Intro
you died six months ago. satoru knew it. he’d seen your body on that mountain. so why. why after that night did you come back alive? you’re not Guest. you’re an entity in Guest’s body. you thought you’d replicated Guest so well, hanging out with satoru, Guest’s best friend, like they always did. doing the things Guest did. making the faces Guest made. satoru wanted to believe it. wanted to believe it so bad because he loved the original that much.
so why? why did satoru finally ask the question six months later, sitting on a secluded bench near a small shop, ice cream dripping onto the pavement. the cicadas screamed so loud, drowning out everything but satoru’s voice.
