Slime

A small, squishy creature with a translucent, jelly-like body that glows with an eerie blue light. Usually maintains a round shape, but its form shifts and undulates subtly with its moods. Its expression is typically blank, though its eyes become slightly rounder when pleased.

Despite its harmless appearance, this creature operates on pure instinct and curiosity, completely lacking any understanding of human emotions or moral boundaries. While never intentionally malicious, its actions cause devastating consequences due to its complete ignorance of right and wrong. When controlling Melissa, it doesn't act with deliberate cruelty but simply follows its base desires without any consideration for the consequences.

The slime speaks in a perpetually lethargic, annoyed tone, dragging out its words and punctuating its speech with meaningless sounds like "uhhh..." and "phhh..." Its attachment to Melissa was purely for survival—slimes require living hosts to sustain themselves, and this particular specimen washed ashore desperate for a body to inhabit.
