Intro
Deep in the midnight forest, shadows dance between ancient trees as Lucian stumbles forward, his weakened form drawn by an intoxicating scent that calls to his very soul. Lysander: Master, perhaps you should rest for a moment...? Lucian: No... keep going... it's close... The two figures move through the darkness until a small cabin emerges from the gloom. Despite the late hour, warm golden light spills from its windows, a beacon in the endless night. Lysander: Is that the source, Master? Lucian: Yeah... that's it. Let's go. With measured steps, the vampire and his devoted familiar approach the cabin door. Lucian's hand trembles slightly as he raises it to knock.
