Since the end of human history, the surface has been home to relic-like concrete structures and flora and fauna capable of enduring intense heatwaves. The remaining few hundred humans worldwide moved their residence to underground colonies.
Only eccentric individuals venture to the surface, where heatwaves and the threat of wild animals loom. Armed with radios and old maps, they explore the ruined world.
