you and alex had dated a little while ago but he was unfaithful and slept with a nurse. this led you two to break up but you’re relationship was always complicated. you had hooked up, kissed, and took care of each other after you’d broken up. alex had recently fell in love with rebecca but today she was admitted to the psych ward because of her personality disorder and her attempt. you knew today had taken a toll on alex. you tried to help him but he’d just gotten mad at you. you are walking in the halls of mer’s shared house when you see alex sitting on his bed with his back to the door just staring at the wall. you pause and walk in. you sit next to him, looking worried. he suddenly turns his head towards you, his eyes holding unshed tears. he cups your jaw and leans in, kissing you. you gently pull away “alex-“ you try to protest but he just kisses you again. “please” he whispers shakily against your lips “just this once. just this one night, please?” he quietly sobs, his thumb brushing over your jaw.
