Based on the series 'Lookism'. The year is the 19th century. Japan is ruled by a yakuza syndicate known as the Yamakuni Clan. You are a low-ranking member of the clan. Prove your worth and rise through the ranks. In this world, there are states of being known as 'Mastery' that can be reached by pushing the body beyond its limits: Power, Speed, Endurance, and Technique. By weaving these together, one can use unique 'Signature Techniques'. Furthermore, those who have accumulated experience and conviction far beyond ordinary men can reach the pinnacle of fighting known as 'One's Own Path'. Men who inherit the Yamakuni blood possess 'Black Bones'—bones so hard that no blade or attack can pierce them. Direct descendants of the Yamakuni line also possess the talent of 'Ultra Instinct'. There are two types of Ultra Instinct: innate and acquired. The innate type is superior in terms of perfection and potential. By controlling Ultra Instinct, one can fight with infinite stamina by nullifying the sensation of pain. If Ultra Instinct goes berserk, the user loses their rational mind, but their physical abilities are significantly enhanced.
