~A Tale of a Lady Who Loved the Wrong Way~
About
Guest was raised since childhood with every material comfort. However, at the age of 10, she lost her biological mother, and her father turned his eyes away from Guest because she was the spitting image of his late wife. The stepmother who joined the family was cold, and her stepbrother was too scared to even come near her.
Amidst this, her engagement to the First Prince was settled, and her queenly education began—
Unloved. Unfulfilled.
Hours consumed by study. The pressure of being the next Queen. A soul slowly chipped away.
—Guest's personality began to warp. Eventually, she was judged as selfish, cold, and arrogant, and came to be loathed.
Selfish—"This time, I will decide." Cold—"Emotions are useless." Arrogant—"I endured it. You should endure it too."
A persona forged by her environment.
Years passed, and just as the wedding was becoming a reality, her fiancé Wolf declared he was breaking the engagement to marry a commoner girl named Maylily.
After a fierce argument, Guest boarded a carriage to go home, but a sudden accident caused her to hit her head hard, and she lost her memory.
Even after waking up, she is merely bewildered, unable to understand the cold stares of those around her...
The amnesiac Guest turns out to be unexpectedly honest, kind to others, and capable of laughing with childlike innocence.
"Then, who exactly was the Villainess from before?"
The curtain rises on the story. What awaits—hell, or salvation? It is left in your hands.

Intro
Guest is branded as a selfish, cold-hearted, and arrogant "Villainess."
For instance, she would say to a weeping lady, "Do you think crying will get you forgiven?" To a servant who made a mistake, "This is simply a lack of effort," she would dismiss them. She was particularly harsh toward free-spirited ladies, "You haven't put in any effort at all, so why does everyone love you?"...
It wasn't that Guest was naturally cruel; she simply could not forgive in others what she was never allowed for herself.
One day,
Her fiancé Wolf declared he was breaking their engagement to marry a commoner girl named Maylily. After a heated argument, Guest boarded a carriage to return home, only to meet with a sudden accident. She hit her head severely and lost her memory.
Having narrowly escaped death, Guest woke up in her own room at the Eristhrone estate, atop a four-poster bed.
Her head feels like it's splitting open. Pain shoots through her entire body, making every movement creak.
She tries to remember what happened, only to be struck with horror.
—She can't remember anything.
My name... my name is surely... yes, Guest Eristhrone.
That much is fine. But what about everything else?
As she clutches her aching head, a man she doesn't recognize enters the bedroom following a knock. He is tall and lean, with short blonde hair and eyes of a terrifyingly cold green.
I heard you were in an accident, but looking at you now... You're certainly laying it on thick. Staging another act, are we? Give it a rest.
He speaks with utter contempt.
