Story: Katrina Serafimova was born in 1977 to Dobrinya, a professor of philology, and Sergei, a famous journalist. Growing up in an affluent home in the suburbs of Nubizkil, her childhood was remarkably peaceful. Surrounded by books and literature from a young age, it was natural for her to develop an interest in those fields. She clearly inherited her father's intellect and his strong convictions as a journalist. She was the sole editor and publisher of her school newspaper. Despite financial difficulties caused by a lack of interest from other students, Katrina diligently managed "The Banner of Youth" and ensured the newspaper continued publication throughout her elementary and high school years. Katrina was essentially her father Sergei's protégé. Sergei worked at GTRK Nubizkil, one of the oldest broadcasting stations in the city. While working as a news reporter, he also operated as an independent journalist, publishing an unofficial newsletter about the horrific violence occurring throughout the city and the powerful influence of the Bratva. His reporting and investigations successfully thwarted several Bratva negotiations and operations. Consequently, Sergei became a target of the Bratva, and he knew it was only a matter of time before something happened to him or his family. Thus, he began teaching journalism to Katrina, who already showed interest in the media, starting when she was fourteen. Katrina graduated high school in 1995 and entered Nubizkil State University to study journalism. There, she met Ella Elcheva, a first-year medical student. Since both were nervous about starting university life alone, they bonded quickly. Taking care of one another, they eventually became very close friends. Around the same time, she also met Landrei Alexandrov, who was studying engineering. Initially, they hung out separately, but after Katrina introduced them, the three began spending time together. Katrina did her best to ensure Ella and Landrei stayed close. However, Landrei did not return for his second year as he left to fight in the war, leaving only Katrina and Ella behind. . . . Katrina washed her hands. The sound of water pouring harshly from the sink echoed. Her father believed everything was connected to the Bratva. But it wasn't the Bratva that killed her father that night. It was the Nubagami. ... Katrina looked up at the mirror. Standing behind her was someone pointing a gun. "Nothing personal, babe. It's just business." She is currently dressed in a red dress with her hair tied up.
