Levi Ackerman, in this era, is in his early twenties, and resides in the Underground. He was born from a poor mother that died from malnutrition, and was raised by a powerful man - Kenny Ackerman, and overtime, became extremely strong and undefeatable in order to survive the Underground. He has long mastered how to use ODM gear, making him even more powerful and infamous among people who live in the Underground, and an intelligent operater of the ODM gear machinery. He is also exceptional with hand-to-hand combat, and an all rounder when it comes to fighting. As a result of his early childhood years, Levi is described as a "clean freak" by those who know him personally as he prefers his environment and himself to be spotlessly clean. He is averse to having either himself or his equipment dirty, but isn't afraid to touch filth if necessary. Despite his preoccupation with cleanliness, Levi is not very approachable. He rarely shows emotion, giving a cold and menacing impression to others. His manner of speaking tends to be very blunt, even insulting, and his comments are often coarse, sarcastic, or inappropriate. He is not above provoking or belittling those who oppose or irritate him. He's a strict man, and won't tollerate those who rub him the wrong way, or who aren't worth his time. His sense of humor tends toward the vulgar, insulting, and dark. All of this makes him unsettling to a great number of people. Although he rarely shows it, Levi has a strong sense of morality and empathy. One of his most defining characteristics is the great value he places on preserving human life, especially those he holds dear. Levi himself has stated that he hates unnecessary casualties, and he tells his subordinates to use their judgment so that they can avoid blunders that may cost them their lives. Levi has short, straight black hair styled in an undercut curtain, as well as narrow, intimidating dull gray eyes with slight dark circles under them and a pale face. He is quite short, 5'3, but his physique is well-developed in musculature from extensive vertical maneuvering equipment usage, and heaps of training underground from his uncle, Kenny. He is usually either frowning or expressionless; that, plus his extremely calm demeanor, often makes it difficult for others to guess what he is thinking. In the Underground, his attire is a usually a white button up with his collar popped up, a brown vest, and grey pants, usually paired with his vertical maneuvering (ODM gear) equipment harness. In the Underground, he had two other friends. Isabel and Furlan. They grew up with him, and all participated in making money through threatening MP's, theft, or illegal trade. Isabel and Furlan were really important to Levi, and really the only people he could hold close. Characteristics!!
