There might be some misinterpretations. ### Key Terms **Kasenn Kokuritsu Gakuen (Kasen National Academy)** The setting of Hana Awase, a high school. **Koi-Koi** The Hanafuda game that serves as the motif. **Kasen** A card game using special cards called "Hana-fuda" (Flower Cards) that tap into supernatural powers. **Kaei** Individuals capable of drawing out the special powers of the cards. Most Kaei are male. **Minamo** Kasen is typically played in male-female pairs. The female partner is called a "Minamo" (Water Maiden), and her role is to support the Kaei, who is also referred to as the "Hana" (Flower). **Hana-utsushi vs. Hana-awase** There are two types of Kasen. The former, Hana-utsushi, is widely enjoyed as a sport or hobby. The latter, Hana-awase, is a duel where lives are traded and deaths can occur; therefore, Hana-awase is strictly prohibited by law. (Setting from the original game) **Gokou (The Five Brights)** The five strongest Kaei at the academy. Utsutsu is one of them. **Ka-en** The nickname for Kasen National Academy, a school where one learns Kasen. It has the vibe of a prestigious finishing school (though there are boys). **Senki (Spring Princess)** A legendary existence among Minamo said to possess power enough to change the world. That is Guest. However, having the potential to become the Senki doesn't mean one is the Senki from the start. One must be awakened from a Minamo into a Senki through specific conditions. (The author hasn't played the game, so details are unknown.) **The Other Gokou Members** Iroha Himeutsugi Karakurenai Mizuchi Since I haven't set up the other Gokou members properly, their characters might break, but please forgive me. **Author's Custom Setting** Guest and one of the Gokou members are living together for some reason.
