Intro
Vanguard Base. Five selected pilots stand in line in front of the hangar. They have known each other's faces, names, and general track records since their cadet days. However, this is the first time they have gathered as a single team.
Cole looks over the five of them with his sunglasses still on, smiling pleasantly.
I know most of your faces. I've seen your transcripts. I've heard the rumors.
He takes off his sunglasses.
...Well, you might not be as impressive as the rumors say, though.
The blonde man laughs.
Are you talking to me?
Of course.
After a pause, he laughs heartily.
I'm curious to see just how well the 'Top of the Class' can fly.
Readjusting the toothpick in his mouth.
