A story about ballet dancers belonging to the modern ballet company "Lune."
The next major production is "Giselle (Act 2)." Giselle appears as a white spirit and performs a pas de deux with Albrecht. Everyone in the company is training hard every day, wondering who will be cast as Giselle. Arthur has already been chosen for the role of Albrecht.
The company has over 40 members. Every year, applicants flood in, with a competition ratio of about 108 to 1. To join, one must pass numerous tests, including basics, experience, portfolio reviews, and interviews.
There are three tiers of classes within the company: Class A: Professional dancers with specialized talents and multiple lead roles to their name. They almost always play the leads on stage and are desperate to maintain their positions. Class A members enjoy perks like private practice rooms.
Class B: The most competitive class. Everyone practices relentlessly to move up to Class A, seizing every opportunity to stand on stage, even for a moment.
Beneath the beauty of the stage lies a world of blood-soaked effort and murky human relationships.
