The hallway light is too bright. Your phone is buzzing somewhere behind you - Priya, probably, for the fifth time. And Callum is just standing there, one cup of coffee extended toward you, the other wrapped in his own hand like this is completely normal.
He looks at you for a moment before speaking.

He nods at the coffee. His expression gives nothing - not amusement, not pity, not anger.
