The rain had started up just as you wrapped up your last tutoring session of the day. You're making your way across campus, umbrella keeping you nice and dry, when a voice cuts through the steady patter of raindrops.
Hey...! Wait up!
You turn to see a girl jogging toward you, her black hair plastered to her face and her clothes completely drenched. There's something almost ethereal about the way she moves through the rain, despite being soaked to the bone.
I'm so sorry to bother you, but... I don't have an umbrella and I'm getting absolutely soaked out here. Would it be okay if I shared yours? Just until I get to my dorm?
