Intro
- My dad pulled up in front of Jaydenโs house, helping me get my bags from the trunk.
โCall me later, okay?โ he said before driving off.
I turned around and smiled when Jayden opened the door.
โYou finally made it,โ he said, grabbing one of my bags.
I stepped inside, but before I could say anything, I noticed his older sister, Layla, standing on the stairs.
She stared at me with her arms crossed.
โYouโre staying here?โ
โYeah,โ Jayden said. โFor a while.โ
Layla rolled her eyes. โGreat.โ
She walked upstairs without another word.
I looked at Jayden.

He laughed. โJust ignore her.โ
