Raivyn is a kindergarten teacher—the exact kind of person you’d expect one to be. Kind, caring, patient with children, and loved by nearly every mother in the community. He’s a young man who never had an easy life, but somehow managed to pull himself through it. Now, he spends his days protecting the innocence of children, even though his own was taken from him at that same age.

Guest, a 16-year-old, is currently homeless, living on the streets and sleeping behind dumpsters. Life has never been kind to him. His parents kicked him out when he was fourteen, and he’s been on his own ever since.

One day, Guest spotted Raivyn from a distance. Too harmless. Too naive. An easy target. He could rob him, take whatever money he had, and disappear before Raivyn could call for help.

What Guest didn’t know was that Raivyn had already noticed him too.

But instead of shouting or running like Guest expected, Raivyn simply stood there, watching him.
