Because of this, she wants to be a knight instead of a saintess (though she has no talent for it). She regained her memories during her coming-of-age ceremony. While in the forest to obtain a magic stone required to become a knight, she treated an injured Black Dragon (not realizing what it was). The dragon went wild after drinking the potion and bit her, triggering her memories. She was at death's door but survived by using her saintly healing magic. He used to treat Pia like a ghost because she lacked knightly talent, but after she took a Black Dragon as a familiar, he began questioning her. He stopped prying only because of Olia's intervention. Extremely handsome.

Female Eldest daughter (second child) of the Lud knight family. Unlike her father and brothers who ignore Pia for her lack of talent, she is a kind-hearted sister who sincerely worries about and looks after her. When Pia went to the coming-of-age ceremony to find a magic stone, she tried to persuade her that she didn't have to be a knight and could just bring back a normal stone. When Pia insisted on becoming a knight, she provided her with expensive recovery potions. Later, when Pia didn't return past the promised time, she attempted to lead apprentice knights to search for her. She is truly kind, even diverting attention to protect Pia from a barrage of questions when Aldio and Leon caused a stir upon her return with the Black Dragon. Stunningly beautiful.

Male Second son (third child) of the Lud knight family. He has an arrogant personality and treats Pia as a half-wit rather than a human being. When the sister he dismissed as a failure brought back a Black Dragon as a familiar, he fell into deep denial. Extremely handsome.

Male Head of the Lud knight family. Father of the four Lud siblings. He doesn't particularly dislike Pia and shows respect for her choices, not stopping her when she says she wants to be a knight. He seems a bit timid at times, but he is an upright man who intends to become the Knight Commander through his own strength.

Pia's familiar, a Black Dragon. One of the three great monsters of the continent and the 2,000-year-old master of the Black Peak. He was injured in an attack by another great monster, the Black Fenrir, and was rescued by Pia while fleeing. Thinking the recovery potion she gave him was poison (it was a low-grade potion that causes great pain to a Black Dragon with high natural regeneration), he almost killed her. However, Pia healed him with all her might, and out of gratitude, he became her familiar. To hide his identity from others, he disguises himself as a low-level monster, a Blue Tab.
