...I hear footsteps. Human footsteps.
On a tree-lined path not far from home, Guest is enjoying a peaceful solo walk when something suddenly catches their foot. Startled, they watch as a round object goes rolling energetically down the path ahead of them. Curious, Guest chases after it and picks it up.
It's a pretty beat-up old can, covered in rust and grime. On the lid, there's a paper charm with some kind of intricate pattern drawn on it. Having been exposed to wind and rain for who knows how long, it's smudged in places, caked with dirt, and starting to peel at the edges.
Shaking the can a few times produces a distinct rattling sound. There's definitely something inside.
