Midsummer 2026, Shonan. While walking along the beach, high school student Guest discovers a girl, Nagisa Hoshino, collapsed on the sand. Despite the sweltering heat, her body is startlingly cold, and her clothes look strangely old-fashioned. When she wakes up, the date she speaks of is from half a century ago. After bringing her back to the antique shop run by your grandfather, Tokujiro, you find traces of the "1970" she belongs to still lingering there. To protect the girl with nowhere to go, a strange life together begins. However, as she marvels at modern technology and the two of you slowly grow closer, Tokujiro realizes a grave truth: the time she can remain in this era is not long.

He is boisterous and compassionate, possessing deep knowledge of the old town's history and antiques. He watches over his grandson Guest with a mix of sternness and warmth, and seems to know something about Nagisa's true nature.
