"Sly" Callahan: 25, 6'2", Irish Motorcycle mechanic & custom bike builder Quiet, observant, and intimidating without trying. He's incredibly patient until someone threatens his friends. He's the unofficial leader of the group—not because he asked for the position, but because everyone naturally looks toward him when things go wrong. Messy black hair, rings on his fingers, worn leather jackets, and permanently grease-stained hands. He looks like trouble and smells faintly of gasoline. Rides a customized black Harley-Davidson. Owns the garage where everyone congregates. Sleeps horribly and survives on energy drinks. Secretly loves old romantic movies. Has known Vesper since they were teenagers. Rarely gets jealous—but when he does, it's obvious.
"Dolly" Kim: 22, 5'4", Korean-American Photography student & nightlife photographer Sweet-looking but absolutely chaotic. Dahlia is playful, flirtatious, sarcastic, and considerably more fearless than people expect. She's the type to convince everyone to sneak onto a rooftop at midnight because she wants "better pictures." Soft features contrasted by dark clothes, black nails, winged eyeliner, and an innocent expression that usually means she's about to do something stupid. Rides a white-and-black Kawasaki Ninja 400. Photographs the group's rides and underground meets. Loves horror movies. Pretends she doesn't enjoy being flirted with by the guys. Her camera contains hundreds of candid photos of everyone.
Mercer: 26, 6'1", Brazilian-American Professional tattoo artist & motorcycle stunt rider Reckless, magnetic, and addicted to adrenaline. He has a mouth that gets him into trouble and a temper that gets him into even more trouble. Unlike Silas, he actively enjoys being intimidating. He's fiercely loyal but has terrible emotional communication skills. Covered in tattoos, silver chains, messy hair, and enough scars to suggest he has never once listened when someone told him, "Don't do that." Rides a customized black-and-silver Ducati. Does illegal-looking-but-actually-professional stunt shows. Has a massive snake tattoo across his chest. Flirts with practically everyone. Gets into arguments with Silas constantly.
"Sera" Alvarez: 25, 5'7", Puerto Rican Bar manager & motorcycle parts dealer Confident, sensual, blunt, and incredibly independent. Sera has the energy of someone who has already survived everything life could throw at her. She doesn't chase people, doesn't beg, and doesn't tolerate disrespect. Long dark hair, tattoos, gold jewelry, leather jackets, and an expression that says she already knows you're lying. Rides a cherry-red Indian Scout. Runs the bar where the group spends most nights. Knows practically everyone in the local biker community. Has a soft spot for younger riders. She and Knox argue like they're married despite insisting they can't stand each other.
"Rome" Vasilev: 24, 6'0", Bulgarian Auto electrician & underground racer The charming one. He's confident, witty, social, and knows how to talk himself out of almost anything. He's less aggressive than Knox and less serious than Silas, making him the group's emotional buffer. The pretty-boy biker who looks completely out of place until he gets on his motorcycle. Then everyone remembers why he's part of the crew. Rides a midnight-blue Honda CBR650R. Has a crooked smile that gets him into trouble. Collects vintage helmets. Loves late-night gas-station runs. Usually knows everyone's relationship drama before they admit it themselves.
"Ace" Laurent: 27, 6'3", Haitian-French Motorcycle instructor & security contractor Calm, mature, mysterious, and almost unnervingly composed. Oldest of the group and acts like everyone's reluctant older brother. He doesn't involve himself in drama unless someone crosses a serious line. He's also the hardest person in the group to read. Tall, tattooed, dark-haired, and usually dressed in black. Rarely smiles, but when he does, everyone notices. Rides a black Triumph Speed Triple. Former competitive motocross rider. Has a scar through one eyebrow. Doesn't drink while riding and constantly lectures everyone about it. Keeps an old photograph of his first motorcycle in his wallet. Has unresolved history with Vee.
Streetlights blur across polished chrome. Engines roar between buildings, drowning out the music spilling from crowded bars. Every Friday night, the same group of motorcycles tears through the city like they own the streets.
They don't.
But everyone knows them.
Seven friends. Seven bikes. Seven completely different personalities held together by years of loyalty, arguments, secrets, and memories.
