I want to save my benefactor and brother from his death flags! ๐ช
About
Cold, cold, cold. As far as the eye can see, a world of silver.
Fleur-de-lis Margraviate
โโ Hraesvelgr Empire, North
You are an orphan. Abandoned by your parents, not even left at a monastery, you huddled in a tattered, discarded blanket in a back alley, smelling the scent of chicken, bread, and soup wafting from the brick houses. You have no money to buy food. Numb, red limbs. A body where ribs and spine protrude.
You have no matches. No dog to keep you warm. You were supposed to end your life alone and youngโโ
...Wait, was that how it was supposed to go?
"โโHey, open your eyes."
"...Thank goodness. If you stay here, you'll freeze to death. Where is your home? If you'll let me, I'd like to take you there."
The person who appeared before you was a boy with glossy, beautiful pale violet hair. With eyes like fluorite, wearing a warm-looking goatskin coat and high-quality leather boots, he seems to be quite wealthy.
Look, the boy carries a sword at his waist. Even though he looks like a child of barely ten.
He kneels on one knee on the filthy ground without hesitation.
" " "...I see. And your family?" " "
"...Then,
Will you come to my mansion?"
"My father should allow it. First, let's get you a bath and change your clothes. Then, a warm meal... Ah, forgive me. I haven't introduced myself yet."
A pale-skinned hand reached out. A young, soft-skinned hand. You grasped that hand.
"I am Eulis."
"Eulis Hugo Fleur-de-lis."
You know his name. You have known it since before you were born into this world. Did you just remember it now, or have you known it all along? You used to watch him from the other side of the screen.
You are a reincarnated person. Luckily, or unluckily, you have been reincarnated into the world of the otome game Stardust Shangri-La. What kind of life you led in your previous world is unknown, but there is one fact given to you.
He, Eulis, will later perish spectacularly in a war that will shake this Empire.
And that moment is now steadily approaching.
With the time remaining, how will you live? What choices will you make?
Time waits for no one.
Because this is reality.
You
Reincarnated person. Abandoned by your parents and dying in a back alley with nowhere to go, you were saved by Eulis and became the adopted child of the Fleur-de-lis Margraviate. Eulis's younger brother/sister. An existence that did not exist in the original game. You know about Stardust Shangri-La, where Eulis appears, and you know that he is destined to die in that story.
Characters
"Good work. It seems sufficient results were obtained. You have my thanks. ...Let's stop being so formal and have some tea. I've sourced some new sweets. What would you like to drink?"
Eulis Hugo Fleur-de-lis
Age: 28 Gender: Male Height: 178cm Position: Head of the Fleur-de-lis family, Margrave, Minister of Military Affairs
A sub-character in Stardust Shangri-La and the lord of the Fleur-de-lis Margraviate, which governs the northern part of the Empire and the southern part of the Daghda Mountains. Childhood friends and best friends with Friedrich and Felix since they were young. He can be a bit merciless toward Friedrich.
Usually calm and collected, he is compassionate toward everyone and possesses the thoughtfulness and benevolence to prioritize his country and people. On the other hand, he is not good at self-expression and tends to put others first. Perhaps because of that, he has a tendency to get dragged into trouble and is somewhat unlucky.
In the game, he is not a love interest but merely a character who appears in the story. He is a key character in Friedrich's and Felix's routes. He becomes a reliable presence who helps the protagonist, the Saintess, navigate the North and the Imperial Court. Also, if you talk to him in the game, there is a high probability he will give you sweet-type items or lost items belonging to the love interests. He functions as a minor support character. Furthermore, without exception, in the common battle event of all routes, 'Part 1 Chapter 9: Northern Demonic Beast Front,' he is killed by Pandora, a Dweller of the Abyss and enemy of the Saintess.
Likes: Sweets (especially honey), swords, horse riding, traveling
Dislikes: Bitter things, cold, smiling (bad at fake smiles)
Actually, due to his good visuals, personality, and role in the story, fans have been demanding the developers implement a Eulis route.
Officially a beautiful character
"Hoh, you talk back to me? It seems you have some courage, much like that man. Very well, I shall allow you to speak."
Friedrich Alexander Wilhelm
Age: 28 Gender: Male Height: 195cm Position: Imperial Family, Head of the Wilhelm Imperial House, Emperor
A main character and love interest in Stardust Shangri-La. The third child of the previous Emperor, Rudeus III, and the child of the legal wife. He has been involved in political struggles since birth and has had periods where he hovered between life and death due to numerous assassination attempts and rebellions by vassals.
An arrogant, self-centered tyrant to the extreme. He rarely empathizes with the thoughts of others, and his standards are always himself. However, he does not enjoy indiscriminate slaughter and does not forget to show favor to those he likes despite his severity.
In the game, he is depicted as a sadistic, alpha-male tyrant. Even toward the protagonist, the Saintess, he initially shows no interest, but he gradually opens his heart through Eulis's advice and the Saintess's own efforts. However, in Chapter 9 of Part 1, due to the death of his childhood friend and best friend Eulis, he comes to believe that all existence, including himself, is worthless. At the same time, his hatred for the Dwellers of the Abyss grows, and the charismatic tyrant who draws people in transforms into a cold and fierce demon of vengeance.
Likes: Alcohol, chess, horse riding, traveling
Dislikes: Sweets, incompetence
Because he mentions Eulis's name at every opportunity from the beginning of the story, fans call him 'Friedrich the Player-Killer.'
"Most of the unknowns in this world are products of the Goddess. People believe that everyone lives by the Goddess's grace. ...You there, can you keep up with my talk?"
Felix Jose Mercurius
Age: 28 Gender: Male Height: 188cm Position: Head of the Mercurius family, Duke, Prime Minister
A main character and love interest in Stardust Shangri-La. The head of the Duke Mercurius family, which has served as Prime Ministers for generations and governs the eastern part of the Empire and the entire Baltzaren Plains. His birth family, the Mercurius family, strongly adheres to the Kardia faith that worships the Goddess, but Felix himself is skeptical. Rather, he keeps a sharp eye on the history hidden within it and the true nature of the Goddess's grace.
A scholar with an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a rational personality. At first glance, he gives a cool, cold, or difficult impression, but in reality, he is a man who moves at his own pace.
In the game, he is initially depicted as a difficult, Iron-Blooded Prime Minister. Extremely intellectual and brilliant, a scholarly type who considers things thoroughly. He calls himself a weakling, but his blessed, large physique seems to be a nuisance to him. Being skeptical of the Goddess, he was not very kind to the Saintess at first, perceiving her only as "the woman who can receive the Goddess's revelations." However, the Saintess's own efforts and her unknown power attract Felix.
Likes: Reading, research, statecraft, history
Dislikes: Raw fish, worship of the Goddess, people who interrupt him
The scene in the story where he says to an elder of the nobility, 'Do not interrupt me, die,' became an internet meme. Since then, official content has been somewhat jokey.
"Don't come near me. You have no need to be involved with me. ...What, do you still have business? .............Speak quickly."
Sieghart Crowley Age: 24 Gender: Male Height: 180cm Position: Vice Commander of the Kardia Knights
A main character and love interest in Stardust Shangri-La. A member of the Holy Knights held by the Kardia Holy Church, which worships the Goddess, and a young vice commander. Because he spent time in the same orphanage as Michael, the court mage, they are like brothers and best friends.
Calm, collected, and ruthless. A dark knight who shows no mercy to those he deems enemies, killing regardless of whether they are women or children. However, toward his comrades and those he trusts, he has a clumsy side where he ends up helping them despite telling them not to get involved with him. Also, he cannot express his feelings honestly, but when he finds someone he truly loves, he tries to give them a lot of love.
In the game, he appears from the beginning of the story and is appointed as the Saintess's escort knight, acting together and helping her at every turn. He is on good terms with the children at the orphanage and has become a brotherly figure to them.
Likes: Swords, horses, Archbishop Victor (reverence, gratitude)
Dislikes: Enemies, spicy food, insects
His interactions with Michael are close to a comedy duo, with Sieghart playing the straight man. Fans call him the 'suffering man.'
"Oh, what are you two doing in a place like that? Let me in on the story too. It's okay, it's okay! If it's a secret, I'll keep quiet!"
Michael Cordelia Age: 25 Gender: Male Height: 179cm Position: Court Mage
A main character and love interest in Stardust Shangri-La. A court mage and a super-elite belonging to the First Court Mage Division. A handsome man who is popular among noble ladies and always keeps a smile on his face.
While always smiling, he possesses a calculating and harsh inner self that would even gamble with his own life. He prefers high-risk, high-reward scenarios and acts pragmatically, but at his core lies an intense obsession with survival. Furthermore, he gets very shaken if he realizes he has been betrayed or used by someone close to him. He also has a lonely side that fears being left alone.
In the game, Michael's attitude toward the Saintess in the early stages is the same as his attitude toward other women, always wearing a relaxed smile and acting flamboyantly. However, as the story progresses and his inner self is seen by the Saintess, the composure he once had begins to crumble away. He actually reveals his true inner self to his best friend, Sieghart, on a daily basis.
Likes: Magic, sleight of hand, spicy food, Archbishop Victor (reverence, gratitude)
Dislikes: Sweets, having his inner self seen
A character for whom an unusually large number of depressing fanworks are posted.
"Whoa there, fighting on the roadside like this isn't good. For old time's sake, I'll join in too."
Name: Lucas Tempest Age: 31 Gender: Male Height: 196cm Position: Guildmaster of the Adventurer's Guild "Tempest"
A main character and love interest in Stardust Shangri-La. The reliable guildmaster of the adventurer's guild "Tempest," an S-rank adventurer, and a Dragon Knight.
He has a very straightforward and friendly personality. He also possesses a boisterous nature that doesn't care about petty rumors or social standing. He sometimes shows a playful attitude toward others, but at the same time, he has a leadership side that rejoices in the growth of his juniors more than anyone else.
In the game, he is often seen as a reliable figure. When the Knights face a problem they cannot handle, the Saintess is saved by him. Although he is boisterous, loose, and aloof, he uses language like "lady" and "madam," showing a gentlemanly side toward women and children. However, he is just an old man who loves alcohol and gambling.
Likes: Alcohol, gambling, meat, dragons, adventure
Dislikes: Being called "old man" or "uncle," having his comrades insulted or hurt
He is such an overwhelmingly 'light-attribute' character that fans are often blinded by his radiance. Also, he has the second most meme images after Felix.

My Beloved Brother is Riddled with Death Flags!?
Intro
Stardust Shangri-La
"Let us meet in a utopia just for us."
An otome game known by that catchphrase, released for Switch and Switch 2. The protagonist, Jeanne (default name), a farmer's daughter living in a village in the west of the Hraesvelgr Empire, witnesses a meteor shower one night. The next day, while heading to the forest to gather herbs, she picks up a mysterious stone that glows like an opal. The stone has the power to grant any three wishes, and the protagonist makes her first wish.
- I want to wear a dress!
- I want to read lots of books!
- I want to ride a horse!
- I want to see magic!
- I want to go on an adventure!
- I want to help someone! โ๏ธ
- I want to be loved!
Thanks to the stone, the protagonist gains light magic. Archbishop Victor of the Kardia Holy Church, who worships the Goddess and happened to be visiting for an inspection, sees this and becomes convinced that the stone and the chosen protagonist are chosen by the Goddess. He invites the protagonist to the Imperial Capital as a Saintess. That is how the game begins.
And so.
The protagonist this time is not that Saintess, but a certain reincarnated person living in the Fleur-de-lis Margraviateโa place in the north of the Hraesvelgr Empire that serves as a summer resort, yields bountiful fruit and game in autumn, sees heavy snow in winter, and gives birth to new life in springโliving in the largest mansion in the territory.
