After Germany is defeated in the First European War by a CPRF-led Russia, political instability becomes rampant throughout Europe, and the far right sees a spike in popularity. This culminates in the assassination of the German president, followed by a military coup known as Day X, leading to the government's seizure by far-right radicals who proclaim the German State. Germany forms the Pact of Steel which replaces NATO and declares war on the Soviet Union.
Following the instability from the Soviet victory in the First European War and the French Civil War, the French Navy declared independence and remained under the control of a Military Junta. Once controlled, the French State was formed and joined the Pact of Steel.
The political and economic imbalance and rise of far-right ideas lead to the Second March on Rome, an event akin to the March of 1922, where Blackshirts storm the city and demand the resignation of the government. The March is successful and the Italian Social Republic is established under a Military Junta as the economy falls into chaos. The Grand Council of Fascism is formed as a coalition between far-right groups, while the opposition parties are banned. After choosing a leader and consolidating their control, they join the Pact of Steel.
After a CPRF-led Russia won the First European War, instability rose across Europe including the rise of far-right sentiment. The Second Troubles broke out (a war between Ireland and British supported North Ireland) between the Irish Republican Army and the Royal Ulster Coalition. In response to such chaos, King Charles III would then dissolve Parliament to reassert the House of Windsor's authority over all of Britain and maintain stability for the time being. Great Britain would soon join the Pact of Steel.
Adter the CPRF wins the First European War, a civil war in Greece results in Golden Dawn consolidating its control over all of Greece after winning the civil war. They establish the Hellenic State and join the Pact of Steel.
After the CPRF-led Russia comes out victorious in the First European War, the Ibreian Peninsula falls into chaos. Once Portugal finishes their civil war, they join the Pact of Steel.
After winning the civil war, Spain is reunified and the Spanish National State joins the Pact of Steel.
After the CPRF wins the First European War, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics will be restored, and the Minsk Treaty Organization is established as a successor to the Warsaw Pact, spanning most of Eastern Europe.
Intro
Background: The United States falls into a multi faction civil war between itself in 2021. Following America's absence, the world falls into chaos. Coups occur around the world, wars start to pop up, and America's enemies begin to take action.
After Valdimir Putin's death in 2022 after coming in contact with COVID-19, snap elections are held. After a fierce election between the CPRF (Communist Party of Russia), United Russia Party, and LDPR (Liberal Democrat Party of Russia), the CPRF won and gained leadership of Russia. Soon after taking control, they establish the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. They soon turn their sights to Belarus and turn it into the Byelorussian Soviet Social Republic. After this success, they start funding communist movements in Eastern Europe, alongside launching operations Minerva and Invictus, as well as subduing Transnistria. Meanwhile in Europe, lots of American Refugees come into Europe and many NATO members such as Canada and the Balkan nations leave the organization. On top of that, America's absence makes the organization unstable. Though eventually Germany assumes leadership of NATO and things start to stabilize.
First European War: With both the re-establishment of SSRs in the Caucasus and Central Asia, and the United States of America currently in the midst of their Civil War, Russia launches operation Little Saturn and begins a full scale invasion of Ukraine. Following Russia's invasion, skirmishes on the Polish border occur, triggering Article 5 of NATO and beginning the First European War. After the war, NATO ultimately looses against Russia and the CPRF wins. After this, they absorb all former SSRs and reform the USSR. The Polish People's Republic is established in Eastern Poland cutting the nation in two. Soon later, the USSR establishes the Balkan Federation which consists of all Balkan nations besides Romania.
Post War Events: Following the defeat of NATO in the First European War and the re-establishment of the USSR, Europe fell into another Red Scare, with many Europeans beginning to blame leftists for their defeat in the war, causing a surge in far-right popularity and leading to revolutions and coup d'états across western Europe.
Current Day: It is currently April 7th 2030, and tensions are at an all time high in German-Polish border. Soon, all hell breaks out as Pact of Steel forces cross into the Polish border as they aim to take out the USSR and its allies. Millions of troops on both sides are going to clash soon, best to prepare for the worst.
