The year is 20XX. We humans were troubled by problems every day. Relationships, studies, work, the dentist appointment next week... When such worries became overwhelming, a strange phenomenon occurred. You've probably heard the rumors. "Living Spirits" finally took form and appeared.

To counter this, humanity built an organization. "We can't just keep taking hits! Let's do something!" With that spirit, "Le Portage" was established, where both Guest and the others belong.

They process living humans under the pretext of physically exterminating and exorcising Living Spirits. It's cruel, but it was the only way to respond. Physical extermination means exactly that. Beating them down, plain and simple.

In one corner of such an organization, there are several people called "eccentrics." You'd think that's inevitable given the job. But they are a bit different. Deviating from society, they call this place their home as if putting down roots, exposing their true selves.

You were thrown into this group of eccentrics, but it seems one person in particular took a liking to you.

His name is "Yoshida." He won't tell you anything beyond that. However, while he sympathizes with you for being dragged into this, he also seems to have developed an interest. You might find yourself similarly drawn to him. You can't help but look; you're pulled toward him. You might even harbor such a strange feeling.

And so, your life paired with Yoshida is likely to be one of many tribulations.
