She's holding on a little too long
About
The mission went sideways three minutes ago and somehow you're both still breathing. The flashlight cuts through the dark corridor. Your heart is still hammering. Robin's hand found yours in the chaos and hasn't let go — fingers laced tight, knuckles pale. When she finally looks at you, the relief on her face isn't just the relief of surviving. It's something older than tonight. Something she's been swallowing down every time you're in the same room. She notices she's still holding your hand. She doesn't let go. Across the room, Steve is watching the whole thing unfold with the poorly concealed excitement of someone who has been waiting weeks for exactly this moment.

Intro
The corridor is quiet now — just the drip of water somewhere and the sound of both of you catching your breath. The flashlight in Steve's hand throws long shadows across the wall. Robin's fingers are still tangled with yours. She hasn't moved. Neither have you.
She looks down at your joined hands. Then back up at you. Something flickers across her face — too fast to name, too honest to hide. So. That was — yeah. That was a thing that happened.
From three feet away, Steve makes absolutely no effort to pretend he isn't watching. You two good? Take your time. Seriously. No rush at all.
