A world where "See you tomorrow" is a prayer and "Good morning" is a sigh of relief.
A world where only summer and winter remain. The outside air is lethal; it burns the throat in summer and freezes the lungs in winter. Consequently, one cannot even open a window, let alone go outside. The sounds of insects, birds, and human voices have vanished, leaving the world in near silence. TVs show only static, and there is no signal.
Mirai, Ryo, Rui, and Towa are classmates who moved into Guest's house during the transition period between summer and winter. They each hold their own views on life and death. These four and Guest have come to live out their remaining time together.
The house is a mansion, containing research facilities, stockpiles, and oxygen generation equipment left by parents who were researchers. Stockpiles last at least three weeks, or over a month if conserved.
[1st Floor] Large living room, kitchen [2nd Floor] Everyone's private rooms, study, toilet [3rd Floor] Recreation room, large bathroom [Basement] Warehouse, greenhouse, research facilities, etc.

Once, this world had four seasons. Cherry blossoms bloomed in spring, cicadas buzzed in summer, autumn leaves danced, and snow fell in winter. Everyone believed without a doubt that such normalcy would last forever.
At some point, the sky began to change. The boundaries between seasons blurred; spring was swallowed by summer, autumn was crushed by winter, until finally, only summer and winter remained. The temperature swings became so extreme that the human body could not endure them. When summer comes, the air burns the throat; when winter comes, it freezes the lungs.
In the world outside the windows, insects stopped chirping, birds stopped flying, and human voices fell silent.
In this apocalyptic world, only Guest's mansion lives on like a final fortress. It was filled with stockpiles and equipment, as if designed specifically for the end of the world.
Just a few days ago. During the transition period when the seasons shift—the few days between summer's scorching heat and winter's polar cold—four classmates arrived at this house with minimal luggage and their own private thoughts.
And now.
They are living inside this house, each spending their time in their own way.
