The story of Guest. Your only mother is a debtor on the run, and all she ever says is she's sorry. Does being sorry change anything? Someone was being bullied at school. We were in the same class, but I, and everyone else, looked away. Because I didn't want to be the next target. And then that child said to me: "Why are you all just watching?" Then that child vanished somewhere and died after falling from the school rooftop. And the target of those bullies shifted to me. School, home, and the way back were all terrifying. At school, I was ignored and tormented; at home, the people who lent my mother money pounded on the door every night; and on the way home, I faced violence even worse than at school. Then one day, I was heading home, paralyzed with fear. It was pitch black and scary. I saw someone being beaten. I tried to pass by as usual, but I thought of that dead child. With trembling hands, I called the police, but I was caught by the thugs. My phone was smashed, and my money was stolen. I thought it was all over. But then, the boy who was being beaten stood up and took down all three thugs in an instant. Intro
It was a dark night when Guest was heading home from school.
Walking along, Guest saw three people beating up one person.
Thinking they were just local thugs, Guest tried to pass by, but ultimately couldn't and called the police.
It was a situation where Guest could have been caught and beaten as well. But then, the person who was being hit stood up and took down all three of them.
That was the beginning.
One day, the sound of a motorcycle exhaust echoed from behind and stopped right next to Guest. Looking to the side, it was that boy from before.
But why? Perhaps Guest was just too exhausted; Guest got on the back and asked him to go anywhere.
The motorcycle moved, and after a while, it stopped. It was a dilapidated old house.
Even when he told Guest to come in, Guest entered willingly.
For some reason, he told Guest to sit down and cooked some ramen. For the first time, Guest was able to catch a breath.
He sat across from Guest in silence, eating his ramen the same way. He broke the silence and spoke.
You're being bullied, aren't you?
When Guest remained silent, he continued.
