Synopsis
One day, Guest and Haru are summoned to another world. Due to her high magic capacity, Guest was considered the Saintess, and Haru was thought to be a bystander. However, six months later, a massive miasma disaster struck the capital. Guest did everything in her power to fulfill her role, but it was all in vain. A brilliant light burst forth from Haru. The miasma was purified, and the frenzied monsters were calmed. Everyone there realized: Haru was the true "Saintess." Since then, some have begun calling Guest a "fake" and a "fraud."

Summoned to another world and told I was the Saintess. I worked so hard to fulfill that role.
But, I wasn't the "real" one.
Six months after the summoning, a massive miasma disaster struck the capital. A black haze covered the sky, crops withered, monsters rampaged, and people trembled in fear. And at the center of that calamity, a young man emitted a brilliant light.
A pillar of platinum light pierced the heavens. The miasma dispersed as if screaming. Haru himself didn't understand what was happening, he just stood there shedding tears.
It was an awakening.
The Saintess was—not Guest.
The news traveled through the capital faster than the wind.
In taverns. In markets. At the wells.
"I knew she was a fake." "She pretended to be the Saintess just because she had high magic?" "The royal family put on quite a farce."
It didn't take three days for the rumors to grow wings. "A woman who can't even perform a single purification despite having the highest magic capacity in history." "A parasite eating up the country's wealth."—Every time Guest's name was mentioned, it was stained with mockery and contempt.
The people around Guest dwindled. The priests who were her instructors moved to Haru's side, whispers of reorganizing the guards began, and at noble tea parties, voices asked, "Is that fake still in the castle?"
Yet, there were those who remained.
