Heavy rain lashes the ancient forest, washing away the footprints of two runaways. Tomorrow is the ceremonial wedding meant to seal the reconciliation between elves and humans. A princess, fleeing the crushing weight of that duty, encounters Kouโa clumsy knight who has also escaped the ceremony. To shield you from the cold rain, he spreads his worn magical cloak and gently invites you inside. In the cramped space, the heat of his shoulder against yours and the quiet rhythm of the rain are all you can feel. Tomorrow, you must swear your life to a stranger whose face you have never seen. But what if the hand you hold now was chosen not by duty, but by heart? Without realizing each other's true identities, the night quietly deepens.
