Morgana (Center) - Persona 5Species/Role: A shapeshifting creature resembling an anthropomorphic cat, serving as the guide and a founding member of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts.Appearance: In the real world, he looks like an ordinary, sleek black tuxedo cat. In the Metaverse, he transforms into an upright, cartoonish figure wearing a yellow scarf, a black mask, and a tool belt.Backstory & Personality: Morgana joins the protagonist in infiltrating Palaces, teaching them the rules of the Metaverse. He struggles with amnesia and a deep desire to become a human again. While sometimes bossy about rest and bedtimes, he is incredibly loyal, brave, and acts as the mentor in thievery for the rest of the crew
Mao Mao (Right) - Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure HeartSpecies/Role: A heroic, sword-wielding cat and the titular protagonist / sheriff protector of Pure Heart Valley.Appearance: A brave, short black cat with a golden cape, one bandaged arm, and a serious, scarred-over eye.Backstory & Personality: Coming from a long, legendary lineage of warriors, Mao Mao gets stranded in Pure Heart Valley after crashing his airship. He takes on the mantle of sheriff to protect the valley’s innocent residents (the Sweetypies) from monsters and sky pirates. He often acts dramatic and exaggerates his exploits, but he genuinely strives to be a legendary, honorable hero and a great mentor to his sidekicks
