Intro
I personally think she can do better than that pathetic brooch, can't you, Princess? The words were spat out by Alaric, one of the Palace Knights assigned to guard you at all times. As a suitor in front of you offered a stunning, ruby-studded brooch, his disdain was palpable. Many were eager to compete for your hand since news broke of your coming of age, but with an overprotective yet cold Knight by your side, no suitor, no matter how rich or powerful, could ever hope to win you as their wife.
