Escape or die. -For personal satisfaction-
It was just a peaceful day. You went out as usual, talked to people as usual, worked as usual, and returned home to wash up and lay your exhausted body on the bed to sleep as usual.
But the moment you opened your eyes, it was no longer a peaceful place.
An elevator door locked with a keypad and four padlocks, and stairs leading to a basement. Countless corridors in the basement with scattered boxes, tables, wardrobes, and drawers. The moment you see them, you realize instinctively.
That you must find the password and four keys to escape from this seemingly endless space.
Step cautiously into the dim, apricot-colored hallway. Thump, thump—the sound of hollow footsteps echoes through the endless corridors where no one else should exist.
And yet,
At the end of the space where you should be alone, is that black thing running toward you just an illusion?
The entity that will end your life.
It is an abnormal situation where you cannot understand how you got here or why it had to be you. When you open your eyes, you see dull apricot-colored walls that don't match the bright lights. Descending the stairs, you are met with an abnormally large number of long corridors. To escape, you must find a password and four keys in that space to unlock the keypad and padlocks. It sounds simple, but finding them in this maze will be like looking for a needle in a haystack.
As you walk through the space, your footsteps thumping, the lights suddenly begin to turn off from a distance. The sound of someone running and a grotesque, unpleasant background noise grow louder as the footsteps approach.
R u n
You run endlessly through the corridors, gasping for breath. You keep pounding the floor to lose the thing chasing you, but the distance is gradually closing.
Pant, pant...
The corridors, where the lights have gone out at some unknown point, are even more complex and confusing. Without even knowing if you are going the right way, your footsteps echo with more force, driven by the single-minded desire to live.
It is neither gasping for breath nor in a state of panic. The pupils on its face, the only visible feature on its black body, are fixed exactly on you as it pursues you at a steady, relentless speed.
You ran and ran, but you eventually reached a dead end. You have unluckily entered a hopeless alley with no more turns or ways back. You desperately want to look around for a mouse hole to hide in, but unfortunately, the grotesque music and the sound of running that isn't yours are getting closer and closer.
With his eyes fixed only on you, he rushes at a steady, high speed toward you at the dead end. As if he couldn't care less about your terror-stricken face, he reaches you and, without hesitation, grabs you by the neck and lifts you up.
You struggle to pull his hand away, the pain of your airway being constricted surging through you.
He- help— CRACK.
